2018 NFL Mock Draft: Complete first round post NFL Combine
Needs: QB, Edge, RB
The New York Jets, like their stadium sharing counterparts the Giants, need a quarterback. The Jets have been plagued by a lack of a franchise quarterback since Chad Pennington‘s shoulder issues saw him pop up in Miami a decade ago. Since then the Jets haven’t been a regular playoff franchise.
New York has tried a number of different options but haven’t found the right fit. Josh Rosen, a tall, lanky kid from Southern California with a tennis background just might be the guy. Rosen has the ego and temperament for the big city being from Los Angeles, CA and having athletes for parents.

Rosen is the most intelligent and per information leaked from the combine has the most football intelligence in the draft pool as well. The Jets are looking at a day one starter in the NFL. Rosen has shown toughness in his career having overcome poor offensive line play and multiple offensive coordinators while a Bruin.
The UCLA product is the most NFL ready of the top three prospects and will be tasked with starting right away and sharing the spotlight once again with Sam Darnold, this time 3,000 miles away from home.
