I’ve mentioned some of criteria for a great uniform already, but let’s run through them here in full:

  • A classic look that creates a brand, of sorts. As soon as the team walks onto the field wearing these uniforms, you know who you’re watching.
  • Colors that match! As we’ve seen in some of our previous stops, a lot of programs either mash two colors together that should definitely not be together, or go with an entirely monochromatic look.
  • When necessary, and on occasion, the ability to break out a tremendous alternate uniform.

Only one AAC program fits all of these requirements perfectly, and it’s the Midshipmen. The blue and gold is terrific – one of college football’s signature looks – and the annual alternates for the Army-Navy games are always showstoppers.

The Midshipmen’s uniforms are simple, sleek, and have become staples of the college football world. They’re absolutely the best that the AAC has to offer.
