5. Joshua Calvert

Calvert is a 6-foot-3 220-pound linebacker from West Lake Village, California. Calvert is a big-time linebacker who could play either inside or outside linebacker for Michigan State. A smart physical player who moves well. He has an official visit to Michigan State scheduled for Sept. 29.

If the coaches can land Calvert to go along with Luke Fulton and Marcel Lewis who are already committed, it could be the best linebacker class in the Dantonio era.

6. Isaiah Gibson

Gibson is a 6-foot-4 300-pound defensive tackle from Springfield Ohio. Gibson is a very strong defensive tackle who dominates his opponents, shutting down the run. He is a lot quicker than most players his size, a trait that has garnered interest from a lot of the top programs across the country.

He has visited the Spartans a few times already, but the coaches are looking to get him back on campus as soon as possible to strengthen the relationship between both sides.
