Oklahoma State Football: 5 reasons Justice Hill can win Heisman in 2018
2. Speed, elusiveness
Justice Hill’s running style may be erratic at times. He’s extremely shifty and doesn’t always hit the gap that the play is designed for but he turns this into huge gains if he can break free.
Hill evades the defense with a slippery elusiveness. His lateral movement is absolutely mesmerizing and he harnesses the ability to lose defenders with ease. If he can’t beat someone with his speed, he’ll dazzle with his footwork.
One of the best moves in his arsenal is the reliable juke move which he pulls off with almost near perfection while putting defenders on skates. His finesse doesn’t slow him down either. Hill’s agility is smooth and natural.
Hill, standing at 5-10, 190 pounds, has the quickness to gain huge chunks of yardage with take-off speed that builds up once he finds open green. He seems to operate best when he is able to get to the outside and into the secondary.
Last season, the tailback had a couple of monster runs including a 79-yard run against Baylor and a 52-yarder in probably his best game last season against Iowa State when he ran for three touchdowns.
