Michigan State football hosts plethora of 2020’s top in-state targets
Dustin Fletcher, QB, Flint (Mich.)
Dustin Fletcher is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound quarterback from Carman-Ainsworth in Flint. The 2020 gunslinger is the younger brother of 2019 defensive end commit Michael Fletcher. Dustin doesn’t have an offer from Michigan State yet, but is a guy who is firmly on the coaches radar, and has been to campus multiple times.
Asking Fletcher what his favorite part of the visit was he informed me that it was “sitting in the position meetings with the guys, I picked up some new things.” When asked what coach he talks to the most he said “I talk to coach Salem the most out of everyone. We talk about different things, but to just keep balling out.”
Fletcher told me the thing that he likes most about the Michigan State football program “I like the culture, it’s all about winning football games at MSU.”
When asked to describe his game, his breakdown was “I can make all the throws, and extend plays with my feet.” An offer from Michigan State would be a blessing, along with the rest of them for Fletcher.
