ATLANTA, GA – SEPTEMBER 02: Deondre Francois #12 of the Florida State Seminoles looks to pass against the Alabama Crimson Tide during their game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on September 2, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Scott Cunningham/Getty Images) /

The Cardinals lose basically all of their offense with Lamar Jackson headed to the NFL. Bobby Petrino always seems to get the most out of his quarterbacks. The only really tough games on their conference schedule include a road trip to Clemson that is probably a loss and a swing game against the Seminoles. If they can find strong quarterback play and a quality running back they could contend for the ACC Atlantic division.

The Blue Devils face Miami and Clemson on the road but could go 6-0 in the rest of their conference games. This team is very talented and quarterback Daniel Jones will do enough to keep the Blue Devils in any close game. The defense of side of the ball is led by Mark Gilbert who picked off six passes last year. The Blue Devils seriously look like a contender in the ACC for the 2018 season.

Deondre Francois was injured in Week one against the Crimson Tide and it seemed like the Seminoles did not have a backup plan at quarterback. Cam Akers is a stud and should give plenty of highlights reel runs this year.

The return of Francois means that Florida State is a legitimate threat to dethrone Clemson as the king of the ACC. Willie Taggart will have this offense playing very up-tempo and it will be a great matchup against the Tigers defense. If they win that one they should be in the ACC title game at the end of their season.
