2. This Mississippi State defense is a force to be reckoned with

The world has focused on Nick Fitzgerald and how he will run the offense under Joe Moorehead. However, not enough was said of this defense. They showed out and showed up against Kansas State today. The biggest part? This didn’t come from one or two guys. The production this group showed came from top to bottom.

They had four sacks today against Kansas State- four. All from different players. The interception by Erroll Thompson was amazing. This group is special y’all.

Twitter from top to bottom is discussing how this group can and will compete in the SEC. Alabama has a good defense. Auburn has a good defense. Georgia has a good defense and guess what, so does Mississippi State. Basically, when you are discussing the SEC — it’s important to discuss the Bulldogs. Keep your eye on them, they could be a challenge for anyone.
