1. Jarrett Stidham will lead Auburn to 35 unanswered points

Stidham has been one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC for the last two seasons. The former Baylor recruit has added an element to the offense that hasn’t been seen in years.

His numbers aren’t eye-popping but he’s clearly one of the best quarterbacks in the conference. He has 386 yards through the air with two touchdowns and I expect him to put up an excellent show against the LSU Tigers defense.

The offense should consistently be able to move the ball downfield but the key will be holding on to the football. The Tigers had five fumbles (four lost) in the win last week, and giving up even one opportunity on the wrong end of the field could mean disaster.

The poor play of the LSU offense will lead to quick Auburn scores, and I think they will stretch the lead out in the second and third quarters as the Tigers have not done a good job of adjusting in games.

I don’t expect Auburn to struggle in this contest and they should win a game that won’t be as close as the experts think.
