The Thursday night game saw Boston College travel to face Wake Forest, and it was a very good ballgame from the start. The Wake Forest defense simply could not slow down Boston College’s offense, which looked very balanced in the big road victory. Next week, the Deacons face Notre Dame at home and could have the chance at a major upset.

Is Pittsburgh going to scare the big players in the ACC? Outside of Clemson every team in the conference should be on upset alert when facing the Panthers. They had a commanding lead over Georgia Tech and simply let them crawl back into the game with the game pretty much decided. They travel to face North Carolina next week in what looks to be a favorable matchup.

Did Florida State make a mistake hiring Willie Taggart? Is the poor offense a product of the previous regime? What is wrong with Florida State? Those are the questions FSU fans are asking this week after getting beat down by Syracuse on the road 30-7. The offense looked out of a rhythm and Deondre Francois had no time to get a pass off with his shaky offensive line. A home game against Northern Illinois would normally be an easy victory, but the Huskies have one of the best defensive players in All-American Sutton Smith and could pull off the big upset.
