1. Kansas State beats the spread

While I do believe Will Grier will go off with five touchdown passes while engineering one of the best aerial games of his career, I also think Kansas State has what it takes to make this oen interesting.

Skylar Thompson isn’t a pushover at quarterback, Alex Barnes is a decent running back and Isaiah Zuber is the leading receiver of anyone, statistics-wise, on either team heading into this game. The Wildcats aren’t just a cakewalk of an opponent, they’re led by one of the best coaches in college football and he’s going to get his team ready to shock the country.

Playing in Morgantown isn’t easy, but Kansas State has a tendency to make games close, especially in this series. In fact, the last four games between these two teams have been decided by six points or less — each team has two wins in that span.

With the spread at 16 points, Kansas State will step up to the plate. The Wildcats will make this one closer than expected, forcing the Mountaineers to sweat out a victory with a 10-point margin.
