2019 NFL Mock Draft: Projecting the first round after Week 6
The Browns have their quarterback of the future in Baker Mayfield, a talented running back in Nick Chubb, and one of the most underrated wide receivers in the league in Jarvis Landry. However, the offensive line is still a major concern, and there hasn’t been much stability at the left tackle position this season now that Joe Thomas has retired.
What do you do when your Hall of Fame tackle from Wisconsin hangs up the cleats? You go out and draft another Wisconsin offensive tackle in David Edwards.
Edwards is arguably the most athletic tackle prospect in this draft, as the former tight end stands at 6-foot-7 and 315 pounds, and can get to the second level of the defense very quickly.
David Edwards and the Wisconsin offensive line have had an excellent season so far, as they have given up only three sacks as a unit this year.
If Edwards is blocking for Mayfield and opening up holes for Chubb, the Browns offense could be really good next season.
