2. Oklahoma State’s offense needs more Justice Hill

The Oklahoma State offense looked half-asleep on Saturday afternoon in Manhattan. Was it because Kansas State was playing a more motivated style of football with nothing to lose? That may have been part of the Cowboys’ issues, but so was not getting the ball in the hands of Justice Hill enough.

Oklahoma State must find ways to get Hill the ball both in the run game as well as out in the pass game. He must be a bigger part of the offense moving forward.

In fact, Hill ran for just 41 yards on 11 carries and caught two passes for 10 yards. Just 13 touches for a total of 51 yards isn’t going to cut it for one of the most electric players in the country. If the Cowboys plan on making a run late in the season, they’ll need to integrate Hill back into the offense with a much larger role.

It was clear that Oklahoma State’s offense couldn’t find a way to move the ball with regularity thanks to the inactivity from Hill.
