The Cavaliers had the biggest win of the weekend as a tough defense helped slow down the Hurricanes offense and pulled off the upset 16-13 at home. The passing offense still needs work as Bryce Perkins threw three interceptions and was sacked four times in this game. Next up is a showdown against Duke and the Blue Devils should win this one to stay in contention for the coastal division.

Boston College’s offense looks very balanced this season and even though AJ Dillon is their workhorse running back, his health status has allowed other running backs to step up. David Bailey had a touchdown and 112 yards on the ground in the easy win for the Eagles.

Boston College gets some much-needed rest with a bye this week before facing Miami at home on Friday night game on Oct. 26.

The Hokies barely squeaked out a win over the Tar Heels, as they needed to travel 98 yards to get the winning score. Virginia Tech now sits at 3-0 in the division and control their own destiny to reach the ACC title game. After their bye this weekend they face Georgia Tech who continues to shoot themselves in the foot with poor execution on both sides of the ball. The Hokies should pick up win number five as long as they don’t overlook the triple option offense.
