The Yellow Jackets had a bye this week and hopefully, they used that time to work on their poor defensive play that has plagued them all season. They face Virginia Tech on Thursday night and while Thursdays are normally known as an upset special, I don’t see it happening. With such bad defense they may give up 45 to Virginia Tech.

Pittsburgh had a bye this week so they didn’t have the opportunity to move up or down the power rankings. The offense has been inconsistent this season but will look to get on track in their showdown this week against the Blue Devils.

The Seminoles took care of business this week against an overmatched Wake Forest team. Deondre Francois threw for over 350 yards and produced his best offense of game of the season. Florida State would love to get a season-defining victory against Clemson, but it will be a tough task for the talented but inconsistent team.
