Although Syracuse scored 41 points, the Demon Deacons defense played pretty average from a yards allowed standpoint. They did give up five rushing touchdowns, but it was their turnovers that shot them in the foot. With winnable games against North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, and Duke to close out the season, it will be hard to see the Demon Deacons going 2-1 to become bowl eligible.

The Hokies continue their up and down season after falling to Boston College at home 31-21. Ryan Willis was all the Hokies offense as he finished with 330 total yards of offense and three touchdowns. The Hokies will be hard-pressed to win another game, as they travel to Pitt, then face Miami and Virginia at home to close out the season.

Georgia Tech had another convincing victory this week without throwing the football much. The Yellow Jackets completed two passes for 104 yards and a touchdown while gashing the Tar Heels defense for 461 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the ground. The Hurricanes come to town this weekend and fans should expect Georgia Tech to pick up the win and become bowl eligible.
