The Hurricanes offense put up another poor showing this week, being shutout in three-quarters of the 20-12 loss to Duke on Saturday. Miami has lost three in a row after a 5 game winning streak and could be looking at a 5-7 finish to the season.

The Blue Devils lost their chance to play in the ACC title game but did reach bowl eligibility after a hard-fought victory over the Hurricanes. The star of the game was Dion Jackson who ran the ball 14 times for 113 yards. North Carolina is next on the schedule so expect the Blue Devils to get win number seven.

For a few weeks, it looked like Virginia was well on their way to a meeting with Clemson in the ACC title game. After falling flat to Pittsburgh on Friday it looks like those dreams were dashed. The defense couldn’t shut down Pittsburgh’s rushing attack as the Panthers averaged 6 yards per carry against the Cavaliers defense. Virginia faces Liberty this weekend and should get things back on track before a road trip to Georgia Tech in Week 12.
