4. Who can become that No. 1 go-to receiver?

Florida doesn’t have a shortage of talent at the receiver position, but the Gators also didn’t have one clear top target, unless you consider Van Jefferson just that. He finished as the team’s leader in receiving yards with 503 to go along with six touchdown catches, but Florida just didn’t have that clear No. 1 guy.

Will the Gators develop a No. 1 receiver in 2019 or will they remain balanced from the first to fourth or fifth-best receiver?

Everyone has kind of been waiting for former blue-chip receiver Tyrie Cleveland to break out but he had just 212 yards and three touchdowns on 18 catches as a junior. Will he finally step up and become more of a go-to target?

Is Jefferson going to be that top receiver again or will Josh Hammond or Freddie Swain step up? What about Trevon Grimes or second-year guys Jacob Copeland or Justin Watkins?

Florida, namely whoever is starting under center, needs to develop more depth at the receiver position.
