Clemson has put out a lot of talent at the receiving position over the last few years, and Tee Higgins has next. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound receiver put up 936 yards as a sophomore last season, and alongside rising sophomore Justyn Ross, there may not be a more feared wide receiver duo in the entire country. And it helps to have a wunderkind like Trevor Lawrence throwing you the ball, too.

Washington has their quarterback of the future after holding pat and selecting Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins with the No. 15 pick in the first round. They added a couple of intriguing receiving options later in the draft, and while I like both Ohio State’s Terry McLaurin and NC State’s Kelvin Harmon, neither project as an eventual No. 1 target for Haskins.

Higgins does, and he has the size and speed that makes him a tough matchup for any corner in one-on-one coverage. He’s got good footwork that makes him tough to stop in space with the ball in his hands, along with a wide catch radius that gives him an advantage in jump ball situations.

He caught 12 touchdowns last season, including five over the last four games of the season. He saved his best performances for when his team needed him most.

If Dylan Moses is available when they pick, he might be tough to pass on due to Washington’s need at the position and their long term goal of building a defense that consists only of former Alabama players.
