Offense is more than just AJ Dillon

If there’s anything we know about the Boston College offense it’s they are going to run the football. They want to be physical in the trenches, and run the football, and then attempt to use play-action to throw it over your head. They will be doing this under new offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian who took the place of Scot Loeffler who left to be the head coach at Bowling Green.

One sure thing they have in Chestnut Hill, Mass., is All-ACC tailback AJ Dillon. He’ll be back to attempt a third consecutive 1,000-yard season after a 1,100-yard campaign last year.

Feeding him the ball will be junior signal-caller Anthony Brown who threw for over 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns. If you think this offense will be the Dillon show, think again.

Receiver Kobay White emerged as a legit offensive threat last season and looks to build on a productive sophomore season.

The offensive line will be overhauled this season after graduating four starters, but they do return All-ACC honorable mention lineman Ben Petrula.
