Jermar Jefferson was a three-star recruit coming out of Harbor City, Calif., where he attended Narbonne High School. He received 14 scholarship offers but knew he wanted to play for the Beavers not long after arriving on campus for his official visit.

It didn’t take Jefferson long to begin making an impact.

In fact, he rushed for 680 yards and eight touchdowns before the end of September. His most notable performances were against Southern Utah where he ran for over 230 yards and four touchdowns and then two weeks later against at Arizona State where he somehow outdid himself by setting a new personal record for most yards in a game with 254 yards, averaging over 8.0 yards a carry with two touchdowns.

By the end of the season, he’d rushed for 1,380 yards and managed to find the endzone 12 times. Keep a lookout for Jefferson to pick up where he left off last season and continue terrorizing Pac-12 defenses again this year.
