2. Rondale Moore just isn’t fair

This seems to be the narrative every game that Purdue plays. Rondale Moore continues to impress game after game and play after play as he makes plays as a receiver as well as a kick and punt returner. In this game, however, he made the big plays as a receiver and Vanderbilt had no way to stop him.

Moore had over 200 yards receiving to go along with a touchdown catch. He had several big plays that kept the Commodores from getting back in the game. He ended up having a career day actually as he set career-highs in receptions with 13 and receiving yards with 220.

It’s not like Moore is an unknown receiver that surprises teams. Teams spend the whole week trying to stop him, but so far have teams have not been able to. As long as Moore is around, Purdue will continue to be dangerous against everybody, not just Vanderbilt.
