2. Get Lamical Perine going

Coming into the regular season, Lamical Perine was set as the starter in the Florida Gators’ backfield. The former walk on had a great end of season in 2018, despite not starting leading the team in rushing with 826 yards and seven touchdowns.

So far in 2019, he’s been unable to get going early. His average has been good, averaging nearly 4.7 yards per carry. But only 20 rushing attempts in two weeks isn’t enough balance for your lead running back, especially with questions still looming about Feleipe Franks at the quarterback position.

If Florida wants to see success this season on offense this season, it will require balance and unpredictability on in the play-calling. Having Perine playing his best as the conference schedule begins.
