Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. DE. Ohio State. 2. player. Chase Young. 30

Unlike their division rival, the New York Jets already have their franchise quarterback, and with the addition of Le’Veon Bell this past offseason, the offense should be in great shape. So at this point, the Jets’ best option is to go with this best prospect on the board and luckily for them, it could be arguably the best player in the entire 2020 NFL Draft.

Ohio State defensive end Chase Young, who already has seven sacks through four games this season, is the top talent entering the draft.

Granted, Young is a junior and could decide to return but all signs point the other direction. A player of his size and talent could’ve been a top pick in the 2019 draft and any team that drafts him will receive an instant impact from Young.

Young is scary good, just ask Penn State and Michigan players who have had the pleasure of meeting him behind the line this past season. The pairing of Young and safety Jamal Adams will match that of the duo on offense, setting the standard for a new era of Jets football.
