3. Will Muschamp will once again find a way to win

Will Muschamp has never lost to Tennessee as a head coach. He is 7-0 against the Volunteers. That trend will continue through 2019. South Carolina is the last team that the Vols will play in October.

More from Tennessee Volunteers

After getting manhandled by Georgia and Alabama and losing a nail-biter to Mississippi State, the Vols will host the South Carolina Gamecocks.

It seems that no matter how bad Muschamp’s teams are, he continues to find a way to beat Tennessee. The Volunteers will be exhausted, physically and mentally, by the time Oct. 26 rolls around, so it will be the perfect opportunity for the young South Carolina team to get a much needed victory.

The Gamecock’s freshman quarterback, Ryan Hilinski, has already proven himself to be the next big thing at South Carolina. He is the only true freshman quarterback to throw multiple completed passes against Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide.

Hilinski will put up a show in Knoxville.
