2. Get Jack Coan going

After the Michigan victory, everyone began singing the praises of Jack Coan as the answer to the Wisconsin passing game, despite only having to throw 16 passes. It was a great sight to see him outplay Michigan, especially for a fan base who’s had to watch Alex Hornibrook the past two seasons.

Coan saw some growing pains against Northwestern, however, going 15-for-24 for only 113 yards and his first interception of the season. It was the first time he really struggled this season, completing only 4.7 yards per attempt and couldn’t find the end zone for Wisconsin.

Thankfully for Coan, Taylor overcame his Northwestern demons and was able to carry the offense once again, but he will need to get going again. This is especially true with a major test against Michigan State looming. His completion percentage is still at nearly 74 percent on the season, and he will need to find his big play weapons like Quintez Cephus and Jake Ferguson.

This offense has too much talent to only have one touchdown in a game, and will need to get back on track against a bad Kent State defense.
