3. vs. Louisville. Pick Analysis. 5-0. Wake Forest Demon Deacons. player. Scouting Report. 889

This game has the potential to be the game of the day. There are many other games with fancy names (Red River Shootout) or bigger brands on the helmet (Florida/LSU), but few might be as purely entertaining as this one at BB&T Stadium on Saturday night.

More from College Football News

Wake Forest comes into this game as one of the last remaining undefeated teams in the country while the Cardinals are flying high — pun intended — after breaking their nine-game conference losing streak with their win against the Boston College Eagles.

Scott Satterfield has Louisville playing well. He’s brought that competitive fire from Boone, N.C., and is instilling it in his young men at Louisville. The Cardinals are by no means perfect; they give up a lot of points and yards on defense, but you are going to get everything they have when you play them.

This game comes down to the simple law of averages; you play enough close games — the Deacons have three one possession wins this season — and you are going to get bitten at least once. Even Rice hung around for a quarter and a half. The Cardinals have speed all over their offense, Satterfield has found his trigger man at quarterback in Malik Cunningham; the Demon Deacons might just get bit this week.
