2. Lynn Bowden Jr. has done the unthinkable this season

Since the opening month of the season, Kentucky seemed doomed to miss a bowl game thanks to an injury to veteran quarterback Terry Wilson, but Lynn Bowden Jr. stepped up and managed to avoid an absolute disaster of a season.

Bowden took over in the middle of the season and has led the Wildcats to five wins, including Saturday afternoon’s triumph over Louisville.

And he hasn’t needed to use his arm. He finished the game against the Cardinals with just two pass attempts for four yards and has less than 1,000 yards through the air on the season, but the former high school quarterback has utilized his impressive athleticism to make the lives of defenders difficult.

The talented receiver-turned-quarterback did that again on Saturday against Louisville, dominating the Cardinals with 284 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Can you believe Kentucky has managed to win 5-of-7 games to finish the year without a passing game? Bowden deserves some type of award.
