19. Von Miller wins the Butkus Award (2010)

This was quite the season for Von Miller — one of the players that have truly cemented themselves as a part of Aggie lore for years and years to come. He finished with 38 solo tackles, 30 assisted tackles, 10.5 sacks and an interception.

While those numbers in terms of tackles aren’t big, it was the sacks and the singular game-changing interception that really cemented him as the nation’s best linebacker for the 2010 season. That interception though is the moment that many people voted to make this list and it can be seen at about the 2:55 mark in the video above.

With 2:37 left in the game against Texas on November 25, 2010, Miller grabbed the ball on the Texas A&M 8-yard line, stopping what looked like a drive to take the lead by the Longhorns. That interception put the game on ice for the Aggies and give them their 9th win of the season.

Since then, Miller has won the professional Butkus Award and become a Super Bowl MVP as well as continuing to help out the community through his organization Von’s Vision, so you could say that he is representing A&M very well and continues to do so year in and year out.
