If there was ever a must-have linebacker for Florida, it has to be five-star Terrence Lewis from Hollywood, Fla.

Florida has been recruiting him for a while and the proximity has to help the Gators here. He’s also high on Nebraska and Texas A&M, but you can never count out the likes of Miami and Alabama. He’s being recruited by just about every major program with a pulse in the south.

Lewis seems to like what he’s been seeing with Florida and he would become the Gators’ second outside linebacker commit in the class, but top-10 kids usually let the process play out. He’s listed as the No. 10 player in the country and the nation’s second-best linebacker, per the composite.

National recruiting expert Charles power from 247Sports is very high on the 6-1, 200-pound linebacker from Florida, comparing him to Roquan Smith and stating he has first-round potential.

The Gators will have Zachary Carter, Khris Bogle, Marco Wilson and Amari Burney returning in 2021, depending early departures, but Lewis would be seeing the field early on regardless.
