Derek Mason kept his job with Vanderbilt this season and that came as a shock to just about everyone. The Commodores haven’t been good since James Franklin left and there doesn’t seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Vanderbilt may be slightly better in 2020 than it was in 2019, but it won’t be enough to hang on for a big win over Florida.

We’ve seen Dan Mullen and Mason get heated before, so don’t be surprised if there are fireworks again, but Florida wins easily.

Final Score: Florida 31, Vanderbilt 14 (8-1, 6-1)

Barry Odom is gone, leaving Missouri in a rebuilding stage as well. That makes two opponents in three games with first-year head coaches which should be sure wins for the Gators.

Florida has an SEC title on the line and must win this to stay afloat with two weeks in the regular season remaining, but this is the Gators’ final conference matchup. Do you think they’ll suffer a massive letdown and have their playoff and conference title hopes shattered in Gainesville against an average opponent? Absolutely not.

Final Score: Missouri 14, Florida 35 (9-1, 7-1)
