ACC Football: 3 early storylines heading into 2020 season
2. More Coastal chaos?
The ACC Coastal division finally completed the circle of life last season when Virginia became the seventh different champion in the last seven years. That is incredibly impressive, I don’t care what anyone says.
I think that there is a chance that this season could yield some more chaos in America’s favorite college football division.
North Carolina enters the 2020 season as the early favorite if you ask me, but Miami is a team to watch. The Hurricanes out-recruit everyone in the division by a healthy margin and with D’Eriq King and Quincy Roche transferring in, they’re a team to watch in the conference heading into this season.
Virginia is the defending champ, but will miss key players such as Bryce Perkins and Bryce Hall this season, but Bronco Mendenhall is a very good coach that gets the most out of his players so never count them out.
Virginia tech is an interesting team that has seen a mass exodus of players transfer in recent seasons, but remain competitive and this will be the first season under a new defensive coordinator.
Pitt is a a team that is to never be counted out.
The only prediction for the Coastal that I can say with any confidence is that I don’t think Georgia Tech wins the division — maybe.
