This was a tough one to predict. On one hand, Washington is losing Jacob Eason and one the other, the Huskies are tough to beat at home.

Michigan loses Shea Patterson so this will be the first game with a first-year starting quarterback on the road against one of the best teams from the Pac-12. However, the Huskies, too, will be starting a new quarterback and are led by a first-year head coach in Jimmy Lake.

Although this will be tough, I see Michigan picking up a big ranked road win to silence critics in Week 1.

Final Score: Michigan 28, Washington 24 (1-0)

After going on the road for one of the toughest season openers of any team in college football, Michigan returns home to face Ball State.

This will be an easy win for a Michigan team coming off an emotional victory, but the Wolverines will get off to a slow start before stepping on the pedal and running away with a comfortable win.

Final Score: Ball State 6, Michigan 45 (2-0)
