DE. Pick Analysis. Penn State. Yetur Gross-Matos. 22. player. 60. Scouting Report

The Minnesota Vikings are looking to detox their team from any communication and relationship problems they have encountered last season.

The Vikings traded for this pick and others by trading away wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills. They feel more comfortable with Adam Thielen as their No. 1 receiver than Diggs.

They will have an extra pick to pick more young and elite caliber prospects. Last season, the Vikings were among the top five pass-rushing teams in the league by accounting for 48 sacks.

They are getting a hard hit with defensive end Everson Griffen departing. They will need another contributor at outside linebacker as well as defensive end opposite of Anthony Barr.

In the previous two seasons at Penn State, Yetur Gross-Matos accumulated a total of 17.5 sacks and 35 tackles for loss. Having Danielle Hunter and Gross-Matos on a Vikings defensive line will bring terror to NFC North offenses.
