LSU. Kristian Fulton. 24. player. Pick Analysis. CB. 15. Scouting Report

The New Orleans Saints have been heartbroken multiple times in their early NFL playoff departures. Still, every offseason, the Saints get key players that fill the position needs.

The secondary is an area where the Saints need to upgrade. Re-signing cornerback Janoris Jenkins to a two-year deal was huge for New Orleans. They did lose cornerback Eli Apple to the free agency, but he was not a consistent coverage man for the Saints.

Acquiring a young coverage specialist like Kristian Fulton will be beneficial for the Saints who could more consistent outside coverage outside of Marshon Lattimore.

Last season for the LSU Tigers, Fulton accounted for 14 pass breakups. He is not a cornerback who gets beat often in deep coverages but has problems with inside routes. Having him learn from Lattimore, Jenkins, and new coming safety Malcolm Jenkins will be beneficial for Fulton for being the future of the Saints.
