QB. Justin Herbert. 59. Pick Analysis. Oregon. 5. player. Scouting Report

The Dolphins are more than likely to trade up in the draft and go for Tua Tagovailoa at No. 2 or maybe even Joe Burrow at No. 1. Without trades in this mock, the Dolphins will be able to draft a well-balanced and very efficient quarterback in Justin Herbert.

His arm strength and ability to throw into tight windows make him a dangerous quarterback in the red zone. Last season, Herbert passed for 3,471 yards, 32 touchdowns, and only six interceptions on 286 completions out of 428 passing attempts.

They will not have to rush him in with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh Rosen on the roster. Despite having the attributes to be pro-ready, the Dolphins can have Hebert learn the NFL system for a while and play later in the season.

This pick is not only a safe pick but it’s a great investment with a huge upside if they prepare him efficiently.
