Nebraska Football: Way-too-early 2020 game-by-game predictions

Nebraska’s schedule at the end of the season doesn’t do it any favors. After facing Ohio State, Penn State and Iowa in back-to-back-to-back games, the Cornhuskers take to the road to face Wisconsin.

Already eliminated from Big Ten West title contention, this game is more so to spoil the Badgers’ hopes of making the conference title game. Will that happen?

That Wisconsin defense will do just enough and the run game will still be elite, even with Jonathan Taylor gone, which will help the Badgers record a big win here. Nebraska’s losing streak stretches to four.

Final Score: Nebraska 13, Wisconsin 17 (7-4, 4-4)

Nebraska will follow up that snoozer from Week 12 with what could be the most exciting game of the season in the finale against a tough Minnesota team.

PJ Fleck has turned the Golden Gophers around quickly and they look like one of the best up-and-coming teams in the conference. But they’ll run into a tough battle to finish the season in Lincoln where the Cornhuskers are 5-1 on the season.

Unfortunately, Adrian Martinez makes one too many mistakes down the stretch while Tanner Morgan has a near-perfect game, leading the Gophers to a huge road win.
