1. A.J. Green, DB

A.J. Green is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound corner who promises to provide decent size, though maybe not top-notch speed, for a NFL team’s defensive secondary.

The senior from DeSoto, Texas, won second-team or honorable mention All-Big 12 honors in his last two seasons in college. He finished the 2019 season with 49 tackles. NFL scouts have surely noticed Green’s lockdown coverage of some of the Big 12’s (and the nation’s) top wideouts during his time at OSU.

Green has held opposing star performers to well under their season averages, including against the likes of Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb, Texas’ Collin Johnson and West Virginia’s David Sills V during the past two seasons. None of these three players had more than five catches against Green.

While it’s true that Big 12 secondaries are not particularly known as the league’s strong point, it is worth noting that they face some of the nation’s most high-powered offenses. Green’s experience and size make him a good candidate to be a mid-round pick.

Prediction: 4th round
