Coming off yet another national title, Alabama bulldozered their way back to the national title game in 2016.

The team put together a perfect regular season that included wins over No. 20 USC, No. 16 Arkansas, No. 9 Tennessee, No. 6 Texas A&M, No. 15 LSU and No. 16 Auburn. The Tide beat down Florida 54-16 in the SEC Title game and defeated Washington 24-7 in the College Football Playoff semifinal to advance to the title game against Clemson.

There they literally fell in the final second as Deshaun Watson threw a touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow win the game for the Tigers with one second on the clock.

Despite this Alabama’s 2016 roster that included star freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts, O.J. Howard, Calvin Ridley, Josh Jacobs, Bo Scarbrough, Jonah Williams, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Marlon Humphrey and Reuben Foster will go down as one of the best Tuscaloosa has ever seen.
