1. Chuba Hubbard, RB

You can’t talk about OSU’s NFL talent without covering Chuba Hubbard. The Canadian back rushed for 2,094 yards, good enough to lead the nation and rank third all-time in Big 12 history (and 16th in FBS history). Hubbard finished eighth in Heisman Trophy voting as a sophomore and wowed many with his blazing speed.

Hubbard’s numbers are impressive, but his running style is worth noting for NFL scouts. He is tough enough to run between the tackles and also has the elusive speed to breakaway from opposing secondary players.

Hubbard is also setting himself up for a significant junior year in 2020. OSU’s offense has been humming along no matter who is calling the plays (though last year’s coordinator, Sean Gleeson, has departed) and the prolific passing attack will prevent defenses from stacking the box against Hubbard.

Some factors that could determine how high Hubbard is drafted next spring, figuring that the rising junior may not return for his senior year: is he versatile enough to catch passes in the flats? Can he withstand a 16-game NFL season as a running back?
