Auburn Football: Game-by-game predictions for 2020 season
November will be the most critical month of Auburn’s season, especially the last half. The first half of the month will be about getting ready for the defining two game stretch of the season that is coming for the Tigers and they will just have to make sure they avoid injuries against what might be the SEC’s worst team this season.
The Tigers have won four straight and six of the last seven against the Razorbacks and they will be heavy favorites heading into this game.
Arkansas will be under new leadership, with former Georgia offensive line coach and former Razorbacks assistant Sam Pittman will have his hands full in 2020. Arkansas will turn to former Florida quarterback Felipe Franks and former Florida State offensive coordinator Kendal Briles to try and bring a spark to this team.
Make it five straight for the Tigers.
Final Score: Auburn 49, Arkansas 17 (7-2, 5-1)
In their final non-conference game of 2020, Auburn will play UMass for the first time in school history.
UMass is a struggling program, as it hasn’t won more than four games in a season ever since making the leap up to playing at the FBS level. They were one of the worst teams in the country last season, finishing at 1-11 and their only win came against Akron, a team that did not even win a game last year. The Minutemen lost every game by double digits in 2019.
This will get ugly quickly out on the plains.
Final Score: Auburn 63, UMass 10 (8-2)
