Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. player. Scouting Report. Nov. 21. Atlanta (Ga.). 880. Pick Analysis. 11

Miami will be looking for revenge in a big way when they head to Atlanta in 2020. One of Miami’s most embarrassing losses last season was in a home game against the Yellow Jackets and you can bet it is still fresh in the minds of Hurricanes fans and players everywhere.

Georgia Tech is still undergoing a massive roster shift from the days of running the triple-option and their record may not necessarily reflect the team’s improvement due to a difficult schedule that also includes Georgia and Clemson.

The Yellow Jackets return a lot of their production off of last years squad and I think that the defense could see a big improvement under head coach Geoff Collins in his second season. Georgia Tech is improving, but they are still a little ways off from being able to consistently win games against quality opponents.

Final Score: Miami 49, Georgia Tech 13 (8-3, 5-2)

player. 825. Scouting Report. Nov. 28. 12. Pick Analysis. Miami (Fla.). Duke Blue Devils

In the season finale, the Hurricanes will also be looking for payback versus the Blue Devils, who also stunned the Hurricanes in an ugly season finale last season. Duke is currently sporting a two-game winning streak against the Canes after struggling to beat the Canes ever since they joined the ACC.

Duke will be turning to quarterback Chase Brice, who is transferring in from Clemson after backing up Trevor Lawrence for the last two seasons and he is going to be expected to help improve the offense that was not good last season.

Duke’s defense has been stingy the past couple of seasons and that should continue in 2020 with eight starters back on that side of the ball. With this being a home game and Miami wanting payback, I expect the Hurricanes to win in a blowout and finish the year with some positive momentum.

Final Score: Miami 45, Duke 17 (9-3, 6-2)
