3. LSU Tigers

If the season isn’t canceled, expect the reigning national champions to sputter quite a bit in 2020. After a legendary 15-0 season, the Tigers lose one of the best players that they’ve ever had the pleasure of watching in Joe Burrow. He’s just a small contributing factor to the Tigers’ fourth-lowest 42 percent production returning.

This team full of question marks will undoubtedly take a step back the next time we see them on the field. They return leading receiver Ja’Marr Chase, but he’s expected to regress without Joe Burrow and Joe Brady, who was believed to be largely responsible for LSU’s explosive offense.

The main positive in regards to a canceled season for the Tigers is that they’ll receive more time to get over the national championship hangover and a reshuffling staff/roster.

The offense will be looking for guys to step up, while the defense returns slightly more production including one of the best defenders in the country, Derek Stingley.

Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Auburn are all waiting to take that top SEC spot and Ed Orgeron can’t take the smallest misstep if they plan to be the face of this conference in years to come.
