4. Terrance Davis, OG (Maryland to Wake Forest)

To avoid repetitiveness, I began research for non-quarterback or running back transfers. This sent me to the lumbering offensive lineman Terrance Davis.

The 6-foot-3, 317-pound guard struggled with injuries last season, but was still largely considered one of the best lineman on a team that finished 15th in productivity last year.

After his injury, Maryland seemed to struggle quite a bit without one of their key missing pieces. As a top-100 recruit, he held offers from Alabama, Michigan and Ohio State to name a few. He’ll join the Demon Deacons and give an instant jolt to a run game that has been struggling as of late.

Experience won’t be an issue either, as this big fella started for four years as a Terrapin, redshirting  his final year due to injuries.

This is a huge pickup for Wake Forest and even though you won’t be reading about him week to week, he’ll have arguably the largest impact of any player on this list.
