15. Duke Blue Devils (0-3, 0-3 ACC)

It’s been a while since our beloved Blue Devils have been this bad. Their record is worse than they are. The ‘Ol Ball Coach was on the deck drinking his mint julep, screaming, “Keep the faith! Coach ’em up!” Coming into a season with a plus one non-conference schedule, someone has to take the losses. It is a bit surprising that it is Duke, however.

The Blue Devils have led in every game they’ve played this season. Duke has had three issues this so far this season. First, they have not finished drives. Their game against Virginia was the first in which they finished drives for touchdowns. Second, the defense has not been able to hold leads. Granted, the leads have been close, but the Blue Devils’ defense has been gassed late in games.

Third, turnovers have plagued the Blue Devils so far this season. Duke has 14 turnovers through three games, including throwing five interceptions against Virginia.

Duke is one of the many teams that would have benefitted from spring practice. Chase Brice has completed barely over 50 percent of his passes and has thrown six interceptions. The offensive line has not done him many favors, and the wide has dropped some passes.

It does not get any easier for Duke next week against Virginia Tech.
