1. Clemson (vs. Miami)

Remember earlier when I said don’t sleep on lower ranked opponents? Here we go.

If you’re a real believer in Miami, it starts with D’Eriq King. Whenever a big time transfer quarterback makes a name for himself, it happens against a big time opponent.

Joe Burrow’s breakout came against Texas. Kyler Murray’s came against Ohio State. Why can’t King’s come against Clemson? After all, a team’s “shocking” rise has to include a huge unexpected win.

King is a difference maker that Miami hasn’t had at quarterback in years. Certainly not when the Hurricanes were outscored by Clemson by a combined 96-3 in their past two meetings.

Both teams are electric on offense. Both teams are solid on defense. This game could mark *the* return of The U. Or it could be just another time, like so many in the last 15 years, that the fourth-best program in the state of Florida in that period has once again let us down.
