2. Kellen Mond is out-dueled by Feleipe Franks

Kellen Mond has been Mr. Inconsistent for Texas A&M over the past few seasons. One game he’ll look like the best quarterback in the SEC and the next he looks like a freshman who just stepped onto campus for the first time and barely knows the playbook. Texas A&M needs more consistency from him.

On the season, he has two 300-yard games and two contests with under 200 yards — one of which he finished with less than 150 yards and completed under 60 percent of his throws.

Against Arkansas’ tough defense, he’s going to have a rough go of things and he’ll finish with a sub-200 yard game again to go along with a 55 percent completion rate while getting out-performed by his counterpart for the Razorbacks.

Feleipe Franks is arguably playing the best football of his career in 2019 with 974 yards and nine touchdowns with a career-best 64 percent completion rate (on at least 100 attempts). He’s going to out-class Mond and pass for 250 yards and a couple of touchdowns on Saturday night.
