2. Give us all the Leddie Brown kool-aid

We’re drinking the kool-aid. Leddie Brown is a bad dude.

No, he didn’t do anything overly impressive on Saturday afternoon, but whenever a “bad” game or “quiet” game is still 100 yards, you know you’re talented. He needed 24 carries to hit 101 yards with a touchdown but Kansas State’s defense has played solid this season so even that is an impressive line.

Now on the season, Brown has four 100-yard games in six outings and he has yet to finish with less than 77 yards in any single game. He’s as steady as they come.

Sometimes you don’t need flashy plays, you just need consistent play. That’s exactly what Brown provided on Saturday as the Mountaineers upset the Wildcats, and then some.

Every good quarterback has a strong runner behind him and that’s why you’re seeing Jarret Doege grow before our very eyes.
