2. Oregon (at Washington State)

It seems like Washington State always wins a game a year that it has no business winning. This might just be the one.

Oregon looked real good last week in a 35-14 win over Stanford. They’re definitely one of the favorites in the conference and last week showed that even without Justin Herbert, they won’t be taking too big a step back.

Washington State also looked good, defeating Oregon State on the road in the debut of both head coach Nick Rolovich and freshman quarterback Jayden De Laura. De Laura looked like a freshman at times, but also showed why he was such a sought after prospect with offers from the likes of Ohio State and USC.

This looks on paper like a shootout, something neither team or coach is afraid of. Oregon definitely has the edge in the trenches on both sides of the ball, but the pacing of the Cougars, along with a pretty equal run to pass ratio will keep the Ducks on their toes.
