1. Feleipe Franks deserved a better homecoming

Feleipe Franks wanted this one. He wanted to beat his former team to go out on top in Gainesville after his career with the Gators was cut short due to an injury and subsequent transfer.

That didn’t happen.

The senior quarterback was hoping for a better send-off against his former teammates and he played just about as well as he could have but it wasn’t enough. Arkansas’ defense just couldn’t slow Kyle Trask and that offense as they melted the clock all game and dominated the time of possession.

Franks finished the game with 250 yards and two touchdowns on 15-for-19 passing.

Arkansas has to be happy with the quarterback situation this season under Franks’ control. He’s tough, he takes those hits, he’s patient, he’s a leader and he can make throws. He’s more than any Razorback fan has seen from the position in years.

Franks deserved better on Saturday night with how well he played.
