Oklahoma State rebounded from its overtime loss to Texas with a close call against Kansas State in Week 10. Still the top team in the Big 12 in the AP Top 25, the Cowboys don’t have to worry about losing or gaining much position as they take an idle weekend in Week 11. Heading into Week 12 and the critical stretch of their season, Mike Gundy’s squad will remain among the 15 best teams in the country.

Spencer Sanders has yet to truly dazzle at quarterback since his return from injury. Chuba Hubbard has looked nothing like his dominant 2019 self as he plods along for the Pokes. With an offense that averages only 28 points per game, Oklahoma State has relied heavily on a defense that holds opponents under 18 points on average. The Cowboys front seven has been great at disrupting opponents at the point of attack, ranking eighth in the FBS in sacks and 12th in tackles for loss.

Oklahoma State heads to Norman in Week 12 for a Bedlam battle against Oklahoma. The game will determine whether the Cowboys remain an outside threat for the College Football Playoff or a pretender in the Big 12 race. A win pushes the Pokes closer to the top 10, while a loss puts them in danger of falling out of the poll entirely.
